About The Event
PIPES, DRUMS & PATRIOTS – A Celtic Musical Celebration of America’s Heroes is a unique event being held in Volusia County to benefit our local Veterans! Tickets start at only $12 and are included in the Early Bird Group Discounts too! VIP tickets are also available which include entry to a Catered Reception following the Concert where ticket holders can meet and mingle with the Artists. These will make unusual and special Corporate Gifts! Corporate Sponsorships starting at only $100 are also available (please email email@example.com for Sponsorship Details). Our Veterans have given so much for us – ALL of the proceeds raised at this event will be donated to them.
The Concert is modeled on the Edinburgh Military Tattoo (which is held annually in Scotland to raise funds for their Veterans) but with an American twist added to it!
The program will be a musical mixture of Traditional Celtic and American Patriotic Music with a special Tribute For The Fallen included. This will be performed by Scottish born award winning recording artist Joann Gilmartin’s “Glasgow Girls” Celtic Band.
Bagpipe Bands will be led by Senior Drum Major Ken Misch of the iconic Los Angeles Scots Pipe Band and World Champion Drum Major, Jason Paguio of the Simon Fraser Pipe Band. Drum Major Paguio is five time World Champion and made international history by becoming the first person from outside the UK to win the World Championships in Glasgow, Scotland. He will perform an exciting freestyle exhibition and you will see why he made history!
“Pipes, Drums & Patriots” is being sponsored by The Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1048 and ALL proceeds will be donated to local Veterans causes. The performers are donating their time and talents to this event as a token of their appreciation for those who serve our nation. Please support Pipes, Drums & Patriots!
