The Barber of Seville – Teatro Lirico D’Europa – Rossini’s ll barbiere di Siviglia, composed at the age of 24, is considered to be the finest comic opera in existence! From start to finish, it is marvelously crafted, brilliantly inventive, and uproariously funny. Bribery, deception, and disguise. Figaro needs all his wiles to help the County outwit Dr. Bartolo and ensure true love wins the day. It’s a feast of frivolous fun! Enjoy Figaro’s mischievous escapades as he assists County Almaviva in extracting the beautiful Rosina away from her lecherous guardian, Dr. Bartolo. The Barber of Seville will fill the stage with all of the beautiful sets and costumes and the superb voices and orchestra of Teatro Lirico D’Europa.
