Cell Phones
In consideration of other patrons and artists on stage, cell phones should be turned off when entering the auditorium and cell phone conversations are forbidden during performances. This policy will be strictly enforced. Patrons may use the lobby or Rose Room to engage in cell phone conversations during the course of a performance.
Talking and Crying Children
Please refrain from talking during the show. Crying children must be taken to the lobby.
Aisles
For safety and courtesy to other patrons, please do not sit or stand in the aisles. Aisles should be kept clear at all times. We ask that you comply with this policy. Any patron who refuses to comply is subject to ejection.
Alcohol
Alcohol is available for purchase at most Peabody events. Staff is fully trained in responsible alcohol management. All guests under the age of 35 may be asked to show ID to purchase alcohol. Guests are not permitted to bring alcohol into the theatre from outside and may not leave the premises with alcoholic beverages. Management reserves the right to refuse the sale of alcohol to any guest.
Binoculars
You are welcome to bring a pair of binoculars to the theatre to enhance your event experience.
Food & Beverage
Outside food and beverage, including water, may not be brought into the theatre. There are food concessions once inside.
Prohibited Items
We ask that our guests avoid bringing unnecessary items. Among items that are prohibited are weapons, outside food and beverage, alcohol, drugs, laser pens or lights, video cameras, audio recording devices, and cameras with flashes, telephoto or zoom lenses.
Re-Entry
Re-entry into the auditorium may be restricted at the discretion of the artist. For symphonies, Broadway touring shows, and other types of events, seating is permitted ONLY between numbers or pieces.
Smoking
There is no smoking permitted anywhere in the Peabody Auditorium. Violation of this policy is grounds for ejection.
